The Exact Checklist for Graduating From the Pilot Early

Devon Ariza

Check your pilot type, eligibility score, quiz status, and qualifying activity to identify what is preventing full TikTok Shop affiliate access.

Creators under 5,000 followers can graduate from TikTok Shop’s standard Affiliate Creator Pilot by staying enrolled for at least 30 days, reaching a Creator Health Rating (CHR) of 176 or higher, passing the required quiz, and completing one listed task: six qualifying shoppable videos, 10 orders, or one qualifying shoppable LIVE. This is the early-graduation route described in TikTok Shop Academy’s US guidance; reaching 5,000 followers is not required for it. An Extended Pilot Creator label is different: completing these milestones does not provide the same automatic route to full affiliate status because TikTok must review the account.

Enter the requirements shown in Creator Center; the checker identifies every blocker and the quickest remaining task.

The Four Requirements That Unlock Graduation

TikTok’s Affiliate Creator Pilot Program guidance lays out four parts of the graduation route for creators below 5,000 followers:

  1. Remain in the program for at least 30 days.
  2. Hold a Creator Health Rating of at least 176.
  3. Complete the required quiz.
  4. Complete one of three commerce tasks: publish six qualifying shoppable videos, generate 10 orders, or host one qualifying shoppable LIVE.

The activity requirement is an or, not an and. You do not need six videos, 10 orders, and a LIVE. One completed option satisfies that portion, provided TikTok credits it in your graduation checklist.

The April 29, 2026 change described on TikTok’s Academy page concerns video limits. It does not remove the 30-day enrollment period or create a way to graduate before day 30. “Early” means graduating without first reaching 5,000 followers, not bypassing the minimum enrollment period.

This process concerns US Affiliate Creators. TikTok Shop requirements can vary by market, enrollment date, account status, and pilot version. If Creator Center gives your account different instructions, follow those displayed terms and retain a screenshot.

Standard Pilot Creators Can Graduate Below 5,000 Followers

Follower count separates the early route from ordinary access, but it is not one of the four early-graduation conditions. A creator with fewer than 5,000 followers can graduate after meeting the 30-day, CHR, quiz, and activity requirements.

A creator who reaches 5,000 followers may become eligible for the ordinary route, but follower count alone does not erase account-health problems or guarantee that restrictions disappear immediately. TikTok can still apply its eligibility checks.

Hubfluence’s guide for affiliates under 5,000 followers also characterizes pilot admission as selective or invite-based. Meeting a follower threshold does not by itself guarantee admission to the program.

The practical distinction is:

Account Status Graduation Route Main Constraint
Standard Pilot, under 5,000 30 days, CHR 176+, quiz, one task Every item must be credited
Standard Pilot, 5,000+ Ordinary eligibility may apply Follower count is not a guarantee
Extended Pilot TikTok review Milestones alone do not unlock access

Open the TikTok Shop creator area and record the exact status label. Do not infer it from your follower count or from another creator’s dashboard.

Extended Pilot Is Not an Early-Graduation Shortcut

The Extended Pilot tier is the dead end in the usual checklist strategy. If the account says Extended Pilot Creator, checking off 30 days, CHR 176, the quiz, and an activity does not establish that full access will unlock automatically. TikTok must review the account.

That does not mean the visible requirements can be ignored. Complete what TikTok assigns, protect account health, and preserve proof. It means producing extra videos, hosting extra LIVEs, or chasing more orders after the counters are complete is not a proven way to accelerate the review.

The account label matters more than similarity to another creator’s situation. Two creators with comparable follower counts can receive different status labels and restrictions.

Capture screenshots of:

  • The exact Pilot or Extended Pilot label.
  • The complete graduation checklist.
  • Enrollment-day count.
  • Current CHR and any violation notice.
  • Quiz completion.
  • The assigned activity and its counter.
  • Posting limits and product restrictions.
  • Any pending-review notice.

If all visible milestones are complete on an Extended Pilot account, contact in-app support and ask whether the account is awaiting review. No reliable universal review timetable is stated in the cited material.

Choose One Qualifying Activity, Not All Three

The fastest task depends on what Creator Center offers and how much credited progress you already have. The checker compares the remaining quantities, but the smallest number is not always the most controllable route.

Six Shoppable Videos Offer the Most Production Control

The video option requires six qualifying shoppable videos. Third-party reporting describes videos of at least eight seconds, but the duration in your own checklist controls if it differs.

This route is usually the most controllable because you decide when to produce and publish. TikTok still decides whether each post qualifies and whether the counter advances.

For every intended qualifying video:

  • Confirm that the video task appears in your checklist.
  • Check the minimum duration shown there.
  • Use original footage, scripting, commentary, or demonstration.
  • Attach the correct eligible product.
  • Stay within the posting cap displayed in Creator Center.
  • Save the post URL, publication date, product details, and a screenshot.
  • Recheck the graduation counter after publication.

Six published posts are not necessarily six credited posts. A missing product attachment, policy notice, duration issue, ineligible product, or posting-limit problem can keep a video out of the counter.

Use distinct creative treatments rather than six near-duplicates. A demonstration, realistic use case, setup sequence, criteria-based comparison, limitation, and answer to a buyer question can cover the same product without looking like counter manipulation.

Ten Orders Depend on Buyer Behavior and Attribution

The order option requires 10 orders, but the cited guidance does not provide a complete universal definition of a qualifying graduation order. TikTok’s displayed counter is therefore the decisive record.

Do not assume every placed order counts. If legitimate orders are missing, ask in-app support whether they must be attributed to your content, completed, non-cancelled, non-refunded, made within a specific period, or associated with an eligible product.

Orders are less controllable than videos because buyer behavior, payment completion, cancellations, refunds, and attribution can affect the result. Do not manufacture the target through fake purchases, coordinated buying, reimbursements, or artificial engagement.

One Shoppable LIVE Has the Lowest Numerical Target

If Creator Center lists a qualifying shoppable LIVE, one completed session is numerically the shortest route. Third-party reporting describes a minimum duration of five minutes, but follow the duration displayed in your account.

Before starting, confirm that LIVE is actually offered as one of your graduation tasks. Some creator interfaces may show only a subset of the three routes.

Verify the eligible product, required duration, and weekly LIVE cap. Prepare accurate talking points, attach the correct product, save evidence of the session and its duration, and inspect the counter afterward.

A completed broadcast does not prove it qualified. If the counter does not move, check duration, product attachment, policy status, and whether LIVE was assigned before hosting another session.

Creator Health Rating Must Stay At 176 Or Higher

A CHR of 176 or higher is not merely an entry check. If rushed milestone content produces violations and pushes the rating below the threshold, finishing the activity does not complete the graduation checklist.

Capture the CHR immediately before and after milestone activity. If a notice appears incorrect, use TikTok’s official appeal route and retain the submission and result. The cited material does not establish how quickly a successful appeal changes graduation eligibility.

Account health depends on the substance of the affiliate content. Use original creator-made footage and avoid recycled seller clips, copied creator videos, superficial edits, repeated near-identical posts, or unrelated footage carrying a product link.

Product claims must match what the attached item can support. Check the model, size, version, quantity, and color. Do not edit demonstrations to misrepresent results or repeat unsupported seller claims as your own, particularly for health, safety, money, or guaranteed outcomes.

Technical access to a product does not establish that every claim about it is acceptable. The broader TikTok Shop affiliate program guide covers how product links and the creator–seller relationship work; the graduation counter still depends on the rules displayed for the pilot account.

The Quiz Must Show As Passed

Opening or submitting the policy quiz is not enough if Creator Center does not mark it as passed. Check its recorded status after completion and save a screenshot.

Do not use copied answer sheets or unofficial quiz links. The purpose is to show that the account holder understands the applicable commerce and content policies, and an unofficial route may not attach completion to the account.

If no quiz appears, refresh the creator area and look under pilot status, eligibility, education, account health, or graduation. Interface labels and navigation can change. If it remains absent, ask in-app support whether the quiz should be available and where the account’s requirement appears.

A missing quiz cannot be repaired by using a score or link from a commercial guide. Support needs to identify the requirement attached to the specific account.

Posting Limits Can Slow the Video Route

TikTok’s Academy page notes an April 29, 2026 change to video limits. Use the cap currently shown in your account when planning the six-video task.

The draft reporting reviewed for this guide contains conflicting figures: some third-party sources report three shoppable videos per day, while another reports five per week. Reports are more consistent around three shoppable LIVE sessions per week, but agreement between blogs does not make that figure universal.

Extended Pilot limits may be tighter. One third-party report gives three shoppable videos per week and one shoppable LIVE per week for Extended Pilot accounts. Treat those figures as provisional unless the account displays them.

A successful upload is not proof that a post is within the pilot cap or eligible for graduation credit. Before scheduling milestone content, record whether each cap is daily or weekly, when its period resets, and how much shoppable content is already counted. Stop when the dashboard says the limit has been reached.

Monitor TikTok’s Counter After Every Activity

The graduation counter matters more than your private count. After each video, LIVE, or intended qualifying order, record:

Record Evidence To Save
Requirement Exact checklist wording
Activity Post URL, LIVE record, or order record
Timing Publication, session, or order date
Progress Counter before and after
Eligibility CHR and any policy notice
Result Credited, pending, or missing

If the counter does not move, do not keep publishing indefinitely. Repeating an uncredited activity can consume the posting allowance without fixing the underlying issue.

For a missing video or LIVE, compare the activity against the assigned type, quantity, timeframe, duration, attached product, publication state, and posting cap. Check for a policy notice.

For missing orders, ask which order states qualify and whether attribution is correct. The available material does not establish a universal qualifying-order definition.

Escalate A Completed Checklist With Evidence

Refresh Creator Center before opening a case. Check whether the counter changed, the status moved to pending, a new requirement appeared, the account label changed, or a review notice was added.

If every displayed requirement appears complete but access remains restricted, send in-app support:

  • A dated screenshot of the complete checklist.
  • The exact Pilot or Extended Pilot label.
  • Proof of at least 30 days enrolled.
  • The CHR screen and relevant appeal outcome.
  • Proof that the quiz shows as passed.
  • Post URLs and dates, LIVE records, or relevant order records.
  • Before-and-after counter screenshots.
  • Any pending-review message.

State the mismatch precisely: “My account is labelled ‘[exact pilot type].’ The checklist shows at least 30 days enrolled, CHR of [score], a passed quiz, and [task] complete. The attached records show each item, but [the counter has not updated/access remains restricted]. Please identify the outstanding condition and confirm whether the account is pending review.”

Do not ask for a generic estimate alone. No reliable universal timetable for counter updates or Extended Pilot review is provided in the cited guidance. Ask which condition remains incomplete and what account status TikTok currently records.

For a standard Pilot Creator below 5,000 followers, the route is fixed: reach day 30, keep CHR at 176 or higher, pass the quiz, and get one offered activity credited. For an Extended Pilot Creator, preserve the same evidence but expect TikTok review rather than an automatic early unlock.
